

KOWAL, Theodore “Ted” Joseph – After a long and courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness the family of Theodore Joseph Kowal announce his passing. His wife Wendy and daughter Kimberly by his side, Ted passed peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday June 22, 2015 at the age of 68 years. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Wendy of 29 years and cherished daughter Kimberly. Predeceased by parents Natalie and Joseph Kowal, and brother Ed, Ted is survived by sister Eugenia Oakes. Ted was an entrepreneur. Ted most recently owned and operated The Computer Repair Centre in Brantford. He was also a Brantford fire fighter for 11 years but Ted’s greatest love was horses and harness racing. Ted owned and operated Ted Kowal racing stables. He was owner, trainer and driver of many successful horses. Ted will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, brother and sister in-laws and friends. Special thank you to the Palliative Care staff at the B.G.H. for their compassion and support during Ted’s illness. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brant Community Healthcare System, ( Palliative Care ) would be greatly appreciated.
