OBITUARY

Thomas Henry Wilcox

11 May, 1949 – 30 April, 2026
IN THE CARE OF

Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home & Chapel

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Henry Wilcox on April 30, 2026. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy Gerow (Bud) and Leonard Wilcox, brother Frank "Bunny" Giaruso, James Wilcox, Janice, Joe brother in law and Joyce Marsden (Toy). Survived by siblings Dennis Giaruso (Susan), Nancy Taccone, Wendy Coulson (Jack), Janice Fulton (Joe) and Lisa Beecraft. His two daughters Natalie (Cody) and Wendy. Loved and missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Well known and respected in the carnival world, Tom built a reputation as one of the best. He was as funny as he was formidable, and those who knew him understood the deep care and dedication he had for the people in his life.

Tommy spent the last years of his life living with his sister Wendy, who was his best friend, and her husband Jack.

Above all, Tom was a loving father to his daughters, Natalie (Cody) and Wendy, who were the center of his world. In recent years, he fought tirelessly alongside Natalie to bring Wendy to Canada from Cuba, showing his incredible determination and love.

Tommy found the little things in life to be the most joyful. His favourite moments were having talks at the kitchen table about politics and the Toronto Maple Leafs, phone calls with Natalie sharing his wealth of gardening advice, and watching Wendy adapt to life in Canada. These are just a few of the memories of Tommy that we will cherish forever.

A devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend, Tommy touched countless lives with his strength, humor, and unwavering loyalty. Tommy will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

Celebration of life at the Showmens Club, Brantford will be in the fall.

“Your love will live on in us, always.”
