To Vi's Family: I met your Mom when I worked in Grand Bend at my first summer job as waitress and she and your Dad cooked for the Begley's. She was always upbeat and so witty. That was when I was about 16 yrs. of age. Many, many years later, about 8-10 yr. ago we met again. She and her friend Bob visited us here on the farm once. I will miss keeping in touch with her for sure. She was a great lady! Sincere condolences on your loss.

Will be sadly missed by all here in England. Even though that you were far away. She will be always in our thought's & hearts.

Mr. Simon Walby Cheshunt England. On behalf of Mr. Alan Walby (Brother)

The first time I met “Vi” was during a summer job in 1978. She was great at helping the hours go quicker with her stories told with her special flare and accent. I smile as I recall her humour and laughter not knowing at that time the awesome threads of life that have connected us again through those who now grieve her passing. Hugs to all her family as you support each other.
Love Doris (also Bob & Stephen)

My thoughts are with you in heaven, and with all of the family, my heart goes out to you Phil, Rita, Bill and Maurene. Joan

Violet, as we know her as Grandma, was a sweet old woman, and full of life. Smiles all the time, and has a distinctive accent when she speaks. She warms up to you right away. We will miss seeing her walking with her walker. Even when she says I need to get home and have a beer. We will both miss her infectious smile. Our deepest sympathy to Joey, Michelle, and Elizabeth, for the loss of a great grandmother. We will miss her a lot. Peace be with you. Love Ted & Bonnie Blatchford-London Ontario.
