Entered into rest, peacefully, after a lengthy illness of diabetes and kidney disease on Wednesday, November 20th, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Alison for 49 years. Loving father of David and Wayne’s “special daughter” Leann. Sadly missed by his three precious granddaughters, Emily, Amanda and Adriann and extended family, Ron and Jane Hilborn, Elizabeth, Patricia, Pat and Wanda, Grahame and Ellen. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West St., on Saturday, November 30th, from 12pm-1pm. A Memorial Service will take place in the chapel at 1pm officiated by Reverend Bob Schroeder and Father Mario Hryniewicz. Cremation has taken place.
