Zbyszek "Bish" Borowicz

Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Predeceased by his parents Katarzyna and Jan Borowicz. Survived by siblings Marian (Joanna), Susan (Jeff), sister-in-law Helen, and predeceased by Tom. Missed by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends. Bish is rejoined with his beloved cats Squidgy, Misiu, Kody, and Bailey.

Bish was well-loved by all who met him, and was known for his sense of humour, quick wit, and his ability to make everyone feel at ease. Bish enjoyed being involved at the Polish Hall on Pearl Street in Brantford, often being found bartending or playing pool. He was an adventurous outdoorsman who enjoyed canoeing. Bish loved riding his motorcycle, especially his trip across Canada. He was happiest spending time with his family and close friends.

Many thanks to the doctors, nurses, PSW's and staff of John Noble Home where Bish was cared for with great respect, dignity and community support. We deeply appreciate the memorial and honour guard in Bish's memory.

A memorial service will be held at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home, 96 West Street, Brantford on Friday, May 9 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held the hour prior. As per Bish’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In memory of Bish, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society - Brant.
