December 30, 1928, to December 10, 2024 at the age of 95. Geraldine (Jerry) was born to Ivan and Ida Williams in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She married James Parker on May 29, 1947. They had three children; Larry, Jimmie Don, and Deanna. They came to Bremerton in 1952. She worked at H&R Block on Callow St., The IRS in Seattle, Puget Sound Shipyard in Keyport, WA, and the Bremerton Sun. She was a member of The Discovery Fellowship Church of Bremerton.
She enjoyed a lifetime of Sunday School and church ministries as a S.S. teacher, children's church, youth ministries, Asst. Sunday School Supt., Missionary secretary, church office secretary, Prayer Ministry leader, and visitation leader.
After her husband passed away, she returned to Oklahoma to be with his and her relatives for 5 years. There, God called her to work with and minister to the homeless, as well as people with substance abuse issues at an Assembly of God mission. She then came back to Bremerton and became involved in like ministries there. She ministered at the Sunday Morning service at Abraham's House. She also volunteered and ministered to the people at the Kitsap Rescue Mission, and church addiction recovery groups in Bremerton and Port Orchard. The people loved her, and she loved them. Many adopted her as "mom" and others as "grandma". She had a real burden and love for those people and saw God touch, heal and deliver many. She will certainly be dearly missed by a host of those people and we can thank God for the many lives touched through her ministries.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years in 1995, her son, Jimmie Don in 2013, her brother Donald Williams in 2019, and her mother and father.
She is survived by her son Larry, and her daughter Deanna Arnold, as well as 8 grandsons; Matthew, Nathan, Joseph, Micah Parker, and their families; Brandon and Brent Arnold; Joshua and Jonathan Parker. Nieces Katherine, Rhonda and their families, and nephews Donald Jr, Randy Williams and their families, and many special friends, brothers and sisters in the Lord.
She passed away and went to be with her heavenly Father and Jesus and a host of beloved family, relatives and friends who preceded her there. She will be waiting for your arrival.
There will be a Celebration of Life memorial service at Miller-Woodlawn Chapel.
