John Steven Egan was born to loving parents EvLyn and George Egan in New Hampton, Iowa on July 12th, 1941. He passed in Bremerton, Washington on May 3rd, 2020. John was preceded in death by his parents, EvLyn and George, and two brothers, Jerome and Owen Egan. He is survived by his older brother, Ken Egan of Fayetteville, Georgia and his younger sister, Joyce Brand-Welker of Olympia, Washington. He attended East High School of Bremerton and enjoyed playing sports such as football and basketball in his youth. In his adult life John was an inventory clerk for Civil Service for twenty years, and theater worker at the Admiral Theater for fifteen years. He enjoyed bowling and going to church in his free time, John attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Church for seventy-four years, and ushered for fifty of those years.
