Margaret Buchanan was born in Eagle Point, OR, to Frank C. Strahan and Meda May Marshall. She went to high school in Talent, OR, and became a Certified Dental Assistant. She married Willard Buchanan on August 31, 1946.
Margaret enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, travel, and playing golf.
She is survived by her son Earl Buchanan and his wife Dianne; daughter Claudia Buchanan Peetz Alves and her husband Louis; grandchildren Christian Peetz, Mindy Hager, Josh Buchanan, and Luke Buchanan; and six great-grandchildren.
No services will be held. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Marine Court, but especially Jenny, for their loving care of our mother and grandmother. Arrangements by Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home, 5505 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, WA.
