Dr. Lund was an incredible teacher and person. I am grateful to have learned so much from him, and saddened to hear many years later of his passing. I was thinking of him today while reading “concerning hobbits” (one of the prologues to Lord of the Rings). I am so lucky to have been his student for many years. God bless you, Lund family.

My name is Joshua. Dr. Lund was my tutor with Oxford Tutorials for my high school years. It’s years later now and think back to those lectures as some off fondest memories. I had only discovered his obituary this past year and was I was very grieved to find it was only a year after I had moved from the area and wrapped up classes with him. He was always so encouraging in my faith walk. His classes on Tolkien and Lewis were incredible and he would always start each day in class with a hymn on his guitar. I count myself as extremely fortunate to have learned from him those couple years. He is deeply missed.

I know this is years late, but I was cleaning out some old emails and came across an email from DR. Lund. I was a student of Dr. Lund for 2 years and learned a lot under his teachings. May he RIP.

I was sorting through old papers today and found an email from Dr. Lund.  Upon looking him up, I am so sorry to see that he has passed. 

We have  many great memories of him.  My son was a Dr. Lund student for I believe  three years and thrived under his tutelage.  He has gone on and accomplished many things, all of which can be traced back to the influence of Dr. Lund.  Such a great legacy!  Our deepest condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss...almost 3 years later. This is Kate Mariani (formerly Nagatani), and I was one of Dr. Lund's many, grateful, indebted former students in Oxford Tutorials (years 2006-2009). I had the privilege of meeting him in person at a speech and debate event in Washington state in 2008. This morning, I thought of him out of the blue and searched his name, and found this obituary. During this advent season, we will be remembering your sweet family in our prayers. He was such a light, encouragement and wonderful teacher.

Judy, I just heard from Bob Fox a missionary from your church that Norm passed away in January. I was on the Seminary board with Norm when I was with the AALC. I considered him a good friend and partner in the gospel. I am saddened and shocked by his departure at such an early age. He gave so much to the Kingdom. We are grieved and mourn with you.
