I served with Toshi for 2 years at Naval Station Everett, WA. We became good friends in recent years. He sent me an audio message on the day of his NOAA graduation and his last words to me were, Love you. I loved him too, he was my brother in arms and my dear friend. 

He had an incredible energy, sense of humor. Was never a dull moment when you had the watch with Toshi. He always kept the conversation going, kept you on your toes, made it fun and interesting. His presence always made the long shift hours more bearable. He was the life of the party, a true showman, always ready to show a certain trick or martial arts skill. Satoshi was a man of God, an animal lover / rehabilitator, a community youth mentor, a federal law enforcement officer. a war veteran, a martial artist, a magician, among so many other titles. 

May you rest in eternal peace. You will be missed my friend and not soon forgotten.

I worked with Toshi on Naval Station Everett in the security department.  He was always so fun and outgoing and making us all laugh, he made that a great place to work!  My heart hurts at this loss for his wife and children! May God comfort your hearts and those who loved him! He is very special to many people and his spirit and life will not be forgotten!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Toshi.  I was just made aware of it today. I served with him on the naval base in Everett as a DOD Police Officer he was always so friendly and helpful.

Always smiling and kind hearted.

I met Usher at Camp Zama Japan where he worked as the Vehicle registration and local national guard force supervisor.  He loved what he do d in providing great customer service making the transition for servicemen/women and department of the army civilians as seamless as possible.  Today I remember him for his selfless service to God and country.
