

Tony was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 19, 1964 to Dora Mae Kendell and Augustus Gilbert Leonard. He graduated from Walbrook Senior High School and attended Coppin State University in The School of Business. He had a great interest in computers and technology. Tony made the critical decision to join the United States Navy and fought in Dessert Storm and the Persian Gulf Wars where he earned three letters of commendation from Rear Admiral of the US Navy and two Bronze Star Service medals. This tremendous sacrifice allowed Tony to see the world.
Tony had a passion for cars. You would easily find him enjoying various car shows with his boys Markale and Jaden. This led Tony to a career in the automobile industry as a Service Manager for over 20 years at Darcars Chrysler Jeep and Nissan. He was a family man! He made family vacations and outings a priority! Tony and Lisa traveled every Summer since they were married on October 17, 2006. Everyone knows that Tony loved gaming competitions and good food. Tony had a joyful spirit that lit up any room. Fun times were guaranteed any time Tony was around.
Tony was a spiritual man who loved music. He gave his life to Christ at Fort Washington Baptist Church with his son Markale at his side. Tony poured his loving spirit into every relationship and made everyone feel so very important and special.
Tony leaves to mourn his loving wife Lisa Evelyn Wilson-Kendell, sons Markale D’Angelo Kendell and Jaden Antonio Robert Kendell, sisters Shirley Mae Smith, Geraldine Leonard, Loretta Suzette Kendell-Clash, and Roxanne Leonard, brothers Marcellus T Kendell, Jr., Tyrone Gilbert Leonard, Shawn Patrick Leonard, and Duane Gilbert Leonard (deceased), beloved Aunt Katherine Leonard, Sister-In-Laws Zina Kendell, Robin Wilson, Kim Wilson, Colothia Leonard, Brother-In-Laws Kevin Wilson and Robert Wilson, Jr., Monica Ann Jones, and Marcus Jones (deceased) and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends.
