A few fun facts:
· Fatima had the most amazing relationship with her daughter and “bestie” Kennya. They were inseparable. Not only do they look just alike, but they also have the same ideals, character, and ambitions. She could not say enough about Kennya and how proud of a mom she was of her.
· She enjoyed caring for her plants that were affectionately named after family members.
· Fatima had an infectious laugh that would light up any conversation.
· Fatima loved her dogs Ace and Champ; may they rest in doggy heaven. And she enjoyed caring for Justice, her newest fur baby.
· She loved shows/movies related to interior design, game shows, action, drama, reality and 80s.
Fatima was employed by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as the Fellowship Program Manager and has worked with this organization for the last three decades. Her dedication and contribution to this work will go unmatched.
Fatima leaves to cherish her memory a loving daughter Kennya Porter-EL, husband Kenneth, sisters Carmen, Theresa, LaRue, Elnora, Mary and Eunia; and brothers Kenny Ray, Ronald, Al and William, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Elihu Porter-EL and Thomas Sessoms, and two very special nephews Frederick Autry and Rashad Johnson-EL.
Fatima Porter-EL was a beautiful, intelligent and caring woman. Her essence could never be duplicated. She will truly be missed.
