It’s amazing that after all the trials that he endured in his life, he could be this beautiful soul that was loved by everyone who knew him.
Even after being robbed of a normal life at 19, he was never bitter. Whenever he needed another trip to the VA hospital for more pokes, probes, or radiation, all he would say is “no problem”. He always found happiness in watching his Dallas Cowboys, going to Rita’s for something sweet, listening to music or shopping at the “little” store. It was a lesson to all of us to enjoy the small stuff.
All this was fueled by COFFEE! He was never far from his witches brew. If you ever had the opportunity to share a cup with him…you know what I mean. We’re not sure if it extended his life or shortened it.
He also became a master of the mess. Cleaning up his spilled coffee single handedly propped up the paper towel industry.
Memories can break your heart, or bring you a smile. Jack was a man who always made you smile. He will be eternally missed.
