OBITUARY

Maria Dolores Alvarenga Ramirez

9 May, 1920 – 11 April, 2025
IN THE CARE OF

Fort Lincoln Funeral Home & Cemetery

On this side of eternity, our grandmother María D Alvarenga Ramírez was born in 1920 in El Salvador. We always called her Mama Lolita. She gave her life to the Lord in 1981, a moment that changed her life forever and for the better. From that day forward, she faithfully served the Lord with her life, unwavering love and devotion.

She served the Lord through her warm hospitality and how she loved and cared for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, loving them as her own.

Mama Lolita was a woman of integrity and strong character, never idle, always purposeful.

She made it her ambition to live a quiet life, mind her own affairs and to work with her hands (1 Thessalonians 4:11) Her life was a witness and living testimony of the faithfulness and goodness of God.

She fought the good fight, finished the race and through it all kept the faith (2Timothy 4:7-8). One of her favorite bible scriptures were Psalms 23 and 91. She may have forgotten a few things because of her age but she always remembered the Lord and His word; the name of Jesus brought her comfort and peace. Now, at this very moment she is present with the Lord, resting in his loving arms for all of eternity.

We love her dearly, our sweet Mama Lolita.
