Missing you more than words can express.  I continue to keep your family and loved-ones in prayers.  I am thankful for so many things.  Happy that we had a great friendship for so many years; most of all I am thankful that absent from the body present with the Lord ~ no more suffering, rest in peace my friend.

Rest in peace my friend.  Fond memories of days of old.  Praying for your loved ones.  I missed that birthday call and immediately thought something must be wrong.  I thank God for the many years of friendship.  Our plans aren’t His plan, but we know God’s plan is perfect.  You will truly be missed by those that knew and loved you.

My sincerest condolences to Patrick's family. My mom (Vera M. Evans) and Patrick's mom (Ms. Mytle-lovingly referred to as), both rest in peace, were best buds while we grew up living in NW DC in the '70's, we were on Whittier Pl, and Patrick's family on Piney Branch Rd. We comforted and fortified each other in our shared Jamaican heritage, food, and culture at a time when black folks did not easily find the Jamaican dialect and culture acceptable. I will cherish the fond, loving memories of those times. Holding Patrick's family in prayer, he meant a lot to me as we learned to take pride in and  celebration of the richness of Jamaican culture.

Mr. Dixon you were a genuine and kind soul. Always upbeat even when you were going through your health challenges.  You went out of your way to make situations and people better than they were before you encountered them. You’ll be missed greatly and I appreciate the time I had working and laughing with you.
