It is with deep sorrow that the family of Sandy Susan Jagessar-Hall, age 75, of Landover Hills, Maryland mourn her passing away on Friday, September 18, 2020. She passed with her dear daughter Pamela by her side.
Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She spent much of her life as a skilled and compassionate nurse. Her life, publicly and privately, was spent caring for others. She will be most remembered for her faith in Jesus, endless generosity, and hard work mostly in service to others.
Sandy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Pamela; grandchildren: Michael, Jennifer, and Matthew; seven great-grandchildren, Lyla, Josephine, Dorothy, Arthur, David, Zoe, and Emma; two brothers, Walter and Lionel, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 33 years, Bruce; her sister, Basdaye; and her parents, Sumintra and John Orie.
A visitation and burial for Sandy will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 9:30 and 10:30 AM respectively, at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, Maryland 20722. Due to COVID restrictions, attendees are limited and services will be live-streamed. Please contact the family for more information.
