Theresa - although we could not attend the services in person, we did view online.  What a beautiful service and tribute to Steve.  We are praying for you, Jayden and the entire family.

I remember when we grew up together in Flaghouse and Stevie would come over always had a beautiful smile back then. Stevie and my mom had a wonderful relationship and over the years Stevie never back away from their relationship over the years. I am truly sorry I couldn’t make or bring my mom but Mrs Gibson has serious health issue of her own now.
 My heart and thoughts were there…. So my condolences to his wife and family ….

I am so sorry for your loss.  Steve was a classy, man with a smile that was like no other.  His low key, yet powerful presence in the bowling alley will never be forgotten.  

Had the pleasure of cruising with Steve and his family  on the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas June 2022.  He, his son (Jayden) and I sat each evening discussing our adventures on the cruise ship.  We talked about life in general and his accomplishments in the bowling community.  He was so proud of son’s accomplishments with bowling.  I will truly miss Steve.

Baby bro, my heart hasn’t been the same since you left us. But one thing for certain you will always remain in my heart. This is so unreal. I got a pendent made with your name on it to keep you close to my heart and Daria got me a bracelet made as well. Rest well my brother.  Too many words to type but you already know. I’m glad you was there to see me get inducted into the Hall of Fame and to have you introduce me made it even better.  You got me into bowling and from here out, every honor score I bowl will be in your honor.  Only thing is now I can’t pick up the phone and tell you how I did but you know. My name is Michael Barnes I grew up with Steve when he lived in Cedonia than moved to Northern Pkwy. He would let me come and deliver food when he worked for Prima foods and he always let me drive Lincoln LTD ,man that was a long Car. I will always remember you as true friend and the first person who let me drive there care when I didn't have a license. He was a brave man LOL.

Theresa,  I am so sad to hear about your husband.  I am thinking of you during this difficult time and keeping you and your family in my prayers. I pray that your memories of your husband bring you peace, comfort and strength.  Gods Blessing!  

Theresa I just found out about the passing of your husband. Laura and I are so sad over your loss. Words can't express the pain that  I know you and the family must be feeling at this time. Just remember that people who love you share your pain. I hope the memories of him and all you shared will give you a little light in this dark time. Let those memories keep him in your heart until you see him again.

We don’t talk often on the phone but I was very honored to have spoken with you today before you died. I’m going to miss you . Steve I will always remember our conversations. I will always remember the love that you have for my cousin who’s my best friend. I will always remember the love that you have for Jayden. I will miss you deeply.  Till we see each other again. Steve Steve Steve as I sit here and write this message tears are falling down my face. I don’t think you knew just how much you meant to me and my family. You came into my life and you never left. At one point we were together almost every day at the bowling alley and I will forever cherish those memories. I will miss that  unique laugh of yours, your hugs, your jokes, your encouragement. You found out about my new job and you were so excited about it. Thank you for everything. Thank you for the advice, thank you accepting the position to be my babies godfather, thank you loving me like a daughter, please please please watch over us all and give us strength when we are weak, give us hope when we feel lost like now, and give us a sense of understanding because NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE. I still want to pick up the phone and FaceTime you. I love you I’m going to stop now because I am crying my eyes out. I love you Steve ❤️

We will never leave Tee Tee or Jayden. We promise always check in on them and help whenever I can. Send them both strength when they are weak, hope when they feel hopeless, and understanding when they just don’t understand. 

Also continue to watch over your bonus son Josh. He loves and misses you so much. We thank you for all memories you gave him. I thank GOD everyday for that job and allowing you’ll to work together and cross paths. 

We all love you and miss you so much.
