At the age of 29, she met the love of her life, Robert Edler in Washington, DC, where they lived while raising their two children. Taundra attended the University of District of Columbia, where she studied social work, became a member of the National Social Work Honor Society, Phi Alpha, and graduated cum laude. She was also a volunteer for SOME’s (So Other’s May Eat) food delivery program in which she delivered meals to homebound senior citizens for almost five years. She worked as a Community Support Specialist at the McClendon Center providing Mental Health Rehabilitation Services to her clients.
Taundra was predeceased by her parents, Charles Brown and Marion Watts. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Robert Edler; her children, Robert
and Lauren Edler; one grandson, Tristan Walker; a sister, Bonita Deloatch; two brothers, Theodore and Keith Brown; a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
She made a great impact on the many lives she touched, and the memories she left behind with her family, friends, and loved ones, will be cherished for a lifetime.
Services celebrating her life will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral service 1:30 p.m. at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
