We had the privilege of meeting our new neighbor when he moved to Chesterfield Road. He introduced himself as Moy. We shared many times together; barbecues, Halloween celebrations, we shared tools and tales as neighbors do, and one spring Moy and I would chat daily outside as we each were recovering from a surgery.  His stories were so interesting and his spirit quite vibrant. We just today learned of his passing. Today, and always we will remember him well.

I am very sorry to hear about Wellington's passing.   We last say him at dim sum over the summer with several of his military friends. My husband and I have known him for many years. He worked on our home many years ago.  He was proud of his work and his energetic personality instantly drew us in.   He shared many amazing stories about his military days, his mother and life as a Chinese American in DC. We will miss him.  Condolences to his family.

My husband Jim and I were saddened to learn of the passing of his cousin, Wellington Hamm Moy himself had list a brother Teddington in the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon, back in 2001.

We give his immediate family our deepest sympathy and offer our support in their time of grief.

For the last 8 months of his life Mr Moy got me as Caregiver. I used to take care of him 4 h a day and 5 days a week. We used to go everywhere together. Mr Moy was someone very honest. I worked with many clients but Mr Moy was unique. He used to remind me how he was ready to go. Mr Moy I missed you a lot I feel deeply sad every time I drived around all the places we used to go together.I discovered many Chinese cultures with you.Rest in peace Mr Moy. Martine your Caregiver
