He was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on August 15, 1954 and spent several years in foster care, before meeting his parents Floyd & Helen Tester.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Junior, Charlie, and Emily Tester.
He spent most of his career as a maintenance engineer in Greenbelt, Maryland, but his greatest accomplishments were in his family as a loving husband, brother, uncle, father, and grandfather.
He met the love of his life, Donna Marshall, at a bowling alley in College Park, Maryland. Within a year of meeting, they were married, and remained so, celebrating 40 years of marriage shortly before his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Marshall, sons, Lawrence and Lee Marshall, stepson, Howard Allen Ripple Jr, and his grandchildren Anthony and Ellie Marshall, and Dylan Ripple.
