Kevin S Green

His funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of Christ in Bayard with Pastor Bill Ferrero officiating.  Interment will follow at Bayard Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Bayard Memorial Chapel.  The casket will be closed at church.  Memorials may be given to the Bayard Volunteer Fire Department or the American Legion Post #22.  Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.bbchapels.com.

Kevin was born on December 31, 1960 in Scottsbluff to Alvin Eugene and Lenora Jean (Drumheller) Green. He attended school in Bayard.  He married Laura Lei Guard on April 25, 1981 and to this union three sons were born Nick, Mike and Jeff.

He worked at Kuskie Oil Company as a delivery driver.

Kevin enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Chicago Bears Fan.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his wife Laura; sons Nick (Jill) Green of Kearney, Mike (Jessica) Green of Bayard and Jeff Green of Kearney; grandchildren Shandlyn and Lucas; and brother Bryon Green of Bayard.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandmother Marie Drumheller, grandfather and grandmother Victor and Lydia Green, father-in-law Ron Guard, brother-in-law Eric Guard and his parents.
