Sally Susie May Nepper

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bridgeport Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Seng officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery.  Memorials may be made in Susie’s name at 1302 Q Street, Bridgeport, NE. 69336.

She was born in Harrison, Arkansas to Helen and Troy Temple on April 16, 1952.  She grew up in several states finally graduating from Bridgeport High School in 1970. She married Gary Nepper in Bridgeport, Nebraska on October 16, 1971. They made their home in Alliance, NE.  To this union two children were born Sandra and Brian.

Susie loved children and worked as a teachers aide at Grandview Elementary School for several years and then worked at Highland Park Care Center as a hostess and dietary aide where she enjoyed caring for the elderly.

Susie will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, for her love of the Cornhuskers and her Husker parties. She never missed an opportunity to travel to Prairie Winds and gamble at the slot machines. Everyone was always welcomed into her spotless house and made to feel at home, her hospitality was unequalled.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sandra Nepper, brother Gary Temple, brother-in-law David Nepper and mother and father-in-law Victor and Elsie Nepper.

She is survived by her husband Gary Nepper of Alliance, son Brian Nepper of Alliance, brother David (Mary) Temple of Bayard, brother Glenn (Denise) Temple of Ottumwa, IA, brother J.T. (Donna) Temple of Plymouth, IN, sister Cathy (Mark) Snyder of Bridgeport and sister Cindy (Lyle) Rasnic of Gillette, WY. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law Vince and Jim Nepper and numerous nieces and nephews.
