Marjorie is survived by her children, Rita Kindt, Christine Cole and Gwen (Michael) LaFond; grandchildren, Steven Kindt, Denice MacKenzie, Angela (Scott) Kindt-Soukup, Nicholas Cole-Mann, Ashley LaFond and Lauren (Alex) Schahczinski; 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Marjorie is predeceased in death by parents John B. and Margaret (Foster) Meinerz; husbands George J.E. Nowack and Ralph P. Wrezic; brothers Lowell (AnnaJane) Meinerz, Archie (Viola) Meinerz, Bernard (Elaine) Meinerz and Miles (Andrea) Meinerz.
Marjorie was born August 21st, 1927 in the town of Arcadia Wisconsin. Her family moved to Milwaukee in 1933 where they opened a grocery store. It was here in Milwaukee she attended school at St. Thomas Aquinas and graduated from St. John’s Cathedral High School. She worked as a hostess and restaurateur most of her working life.
Marjorie is best remembered for her loving nature, sense of humor, quick wit and generosity. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends and lived life to its fullest. Her motto in life was “Keep the Faith.”
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission or the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern WI would be appreciated.
