Rose was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Velia and Tony. She grew up above her father’s tavern in Milwaukee and graduated from Cathedral High School. She attended Saint Mary’s Nursing School and practiced nursing her entire life. Rose married the love of her life, Jack, in 1967 in Milwaukee; they were married for 53 years until Jack’s passing in 2020. They raised their two children in Glendale and then moved to Bradenton, FL to enjoy their retirement in the sun. Rose was an active member of her church, where she frequently volunteered and loved to sing in the choir.
Rose is survived by her son, Jason (Tracy); her daughter, Seri (Eric); four grandchildren: Grant, Tillie, Tate, and Naomi; her brother Carl (Mary Ann), a nephew, and four nieces.
A memorial service celebrating the lives of both Rose and Jack will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the Family Center building (turn left as you enter grounds).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity or the charity of your choice.
