Alan was born on April 9, 1930, in East Providence, RI. He attended Colby College and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He lived with fierce determination and passion in all he did, from his career as a real estate investor and financier, to playing squash and tennis competitively, to studying and collecting art, to refining his photographer’s eye and filling our homes with the stunning results. But most of all, he devoted every fiber of himself to the love of his life, Joyce.
