Swartz, Alan R. of Brookline. Entered into rest on April 26, 2013. Beloved husband of Gwendolyn Crawford-Swartz who shared more than 26 years together. Devoted father of Ryan A. O’Neal of Boston and Troi L. Brathwaite of Boston. Alan leaves behind his cousins Pammy Presson of Salem, Bonnie Presson-Dudley of Revere, and Nancy Presson of Revere who were like dear sisters to him. Proud grandfather to Jailyn Pratt and Timothy Brathwaite and faithful companion to his dog Gizmo. Alan was the proud owner of Mr. Alan’s Clothing, Inc. in Boston for over 30 years. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St., Brookline, on Wednesday, May 1, at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Vilno Cemetery, 776 Baker St., W. Roxbury.
