A lifetime ago, Bobbi and I were bunkmates at Camp Rapputak.  We lost touch after that, but my memory of her is one of gentleness and kindness.  And she was funny!  Her  clueless comments  seemed to come from another world - and maybe they did, and maybe they weren't so clueless-  they always made us laugh.  I'm sorry for all of you.  I know you'll miss her.

Bobbi was one of the kindest, most fun loving, and generous people I ever met. We became friends in high school and stayed in touch off and on for many years. We met for coffee one Sunday morning about two years ago after having reunited via Facebook, and it brought back the memories of hanging out at her parents' house, cruising around Brookline, being with friends and thinking that the good times would last forever. There are people in our lives who, when we think about them, always bring a smile to our face. That's how I remember Bobbi. Please accept my condolences.

      After seeing Bobbi,s obituary in the paper, I knew that I had to write something.As your babysitter in the late '50's I remember Bobbi as a sweet little girl of around 10.She was always smiling and seemed to love life.I now have children and grandchildren of my own and know just how precious each one is, and offer my deepest sympathy to your family.

Recounting memories of Bobbie:

Upon relecting last night, there are so many memories of Bobbi that I have, as we spent years together, as friends, actually, Bobbi, was like a creative, sister, to me, for decades. She shared, the new lady friends, as they entered our path of introduction and experiences.  She would size them up, and in many cases, befriend them, and we all had a very pleasant, social circle, primed with vast experience's and adventures.
One fond memory, involved one sunny spring evening, when Bobbi invited me to her family home in Brookline Mass, for dinner, Mrs. Moskow was to prepare Sword Fish, which I had never experienced at that time. I was reluctant to try it, and both Mrs. Moskow and Bobbie, assured me it tasted like steak, and I would enjoy it. Well it did in fact, taste like steak, and a new taste sensation was born, for my menu of favorite dishes. Bobbi and I traveled to Rockport Mass many a time, spent the day with friends on Good Harbor Beach, and after, "turning purple," from 8 hours of sun with baby oil, would then comtinue our day in Rockport, to visit shops, dine in a new adventure of a choice eatery, and just take in the beauty of nature. Bobbi and my college sweetheart, Debbie, one night, decided to have me believe, that Debbie's uncle, was a world famous, race car driver, as they knew I was a car hobbiest, and they were convincing. I was so excited, and they had a great spoof with me, only to let me in on the spoof, boy did they have me going. This story illustrated the playfullness of spirit, that Bobbie could share, to electrify a day, with laughter. She shared the Moskow family with me on Jewish  Holidays, and they were filled with good cheer, high spirit, and sharing, of feelings and breaking bread, over Moskow family stories, framed, with punch lines, of joy and positive energy. I will always remember her joy as she would greet her big bear, of a Golden Retriever, Leo, at her parents home. Mr. Moskow, looking like Danny Kaye, always made the vening fun with all the Moskows, painting the evening with color and stories, which included narrative for me, to include me, in the memories they recounted. Bobbie's brother Jim, entertained, as the composer of music in the family, and he was good, very good, and a sweetheart of a guy, framed with dry wit, to banter with the family in very good fun. Decades of life were shared by the two of us both good and in challenging times as well. Humans build a bond over years, with memories weaved into those years, that time can never remove. These memories always serve as the life blood of a human being, and will always remain.

I am so sorry to hear of Bobbie's passing.  We were high school friends and reconnected thru face book. I remember her as always having a smile on her face and making people laugh.  She was a beautiful person inside and out.  My deepest sympathies to the Moskow family. Bobbie will be missed.

I am sorry to hear of Bobbie's passing yesterday.  She was sweet from the time we met in kindergarden.  She spoke in a soft voice, always ha a kind word to say about others and was sweet and gentle.   Jane Katz NYC

Bobbie and I reconnected through Facebook about a year ago and it was wonderful to hear from her. We met in high school and I delighted in being part of her gusto for life as she met the world head-on. Bobbie was always Bobbie-she expected the world to accept her just as they found her and wasn't I the lucky one who counted her as a friend.  My thoughts and sympathies are with her family.  I am sorry I cannot be in Boston on Sunday, but I will be thinking of Bobbie and there will be a huge smile on my face.

Bobbi - she used to spell it with no e- was the best childhood and teen friend a girl could ever have. She was witty,funny, gorgeous, loyal, and so much fun.   I treasure so many Bobbi memories from Temple Ohabei sunday school to Ho Sai Gai lunches to-- later on -- countless nights hanging out in Friendly's parking lots. I am grateful to have shared so many years of growing up with her. My condolences to Jackie, Janie, and Jimmy on the loss of this spirited, fabulous woman.

I just met Bobbie a couple of years ago, But within that time I felt a real connection with her. She was funny, kind, and generous. She always had a smile on her face. She took a true interest in what was going on in my world. She made me laugh, I feel blessed that she came into my life, and I will deeply miss her, she was special..My deepest sympathies, Mindy Sneider...

Please extend my sincere condolences to the entire family.  I knew Bobbie when we were bunk mates during our summers at Camp Rapputak.  Although years elapsed before we reconnected, I always remembered her as a gentle, giving soul.  Her presence was a source of comfort and her quirkiness was endearing to everyone who came in contact with her.  I was glad to see that she hadn't lost any of her generous and loving nature when we met up again through Facebook.  Having experienced the loss of a child, I know there are no words to describe the depth of grief and feelings of loss you feel. Bobbie was a gift to all of us and she will be sorely missed.
