Dalia (Vivas) Stern, 90, of Needham, formerly of Newton and Shaker Heights, OH on Friday, December 1, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Lester Stern. Devoted mother of Richard, Lori, and Howard. Adored grandmother of Julian, Julia, Daniel, and Leah. Dear sister of Sally Harrington and the late Julio Vivas. Dalia was a member of the 1997 Massachusetts Senior Olympic Volleyball Team. She was an avid bridge player, Bronze Life Master. A lifelong champion of human rights.
Services will be held at Newton Cemetery Chapel, 791 Walnut St., Newton on Tuesday, December 5 at 11AM. The family will be receiving friends and family from 1-3PM at North Hill, Red Room 5th Floor, 865 Central Ave., Needham.
