Dear Louise and family.  I just heard the news of your great loss.  I worked for Dan for 11 years.  He was so kind, informative and easy to work for.  He treated us like family.  On hot summer days, he would send some of us out for ice cream for all the employees.  He was a great teacher.  I knew nothing of polymer plastics and he made it even simple enough for me to understand.  I will pray that our Heavenly Father sends you comfort at this difficult time.

Dear Louise,  It was such a shock to learn about Danny's death 2 weeks after the funeral was held.  We know what a wonderful husband, father and grandfather he was to his family. What a great friend he was to all your friends. Being in Florida, our Simmons friends were too upset to even think about calling.
