Of Newton. It is with great sadness that his family announces the passing of David Wald on May 19 peacefully at his home after a brief illness. David was the devoted son of the late Samuel and Anne Wald. David is survived by his wife of thirty years, Phyllis (Zelermyer) Wald, his children, Samuel, Rabbi Joshua, Rachel Weisberg, Raphael, Mollie, Hannah, Shira and Zachary. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren. Also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Estelle of Boca Raton, Florida.
David grew up in Hartford Connecticut, where he graduated from Weaver High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Vermont before graduating from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and earning a Masters Degree in Pedodontics from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. David was incredibly devoted to his practice of dentistry, first in the office of Dr. Samuel Kane in East Boston, then in Somerville, before establishing practices in Waltham and Northborough.

Funeral Services were held at 12:00 PM on Friday May 20, 2022 at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels Brookline 1668 Beacon Street Brookline MA 02445 followed by Procession to Sons of Jacob Cemetery in Danvers 16 Buxton Rd Danvers MA 01923.
