Denis Krasnigor, 83, formerly of Quincy, Massachusetts, passed away on November 27, 2025. Born on April 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Jacob and Pauline Krasnigor.
A graduate of Boston State College, Denis was a devoted Spanish teacher in the Melrose school system. He brought enthusiasm, kindness, and curiosity to the classroom, inspiring countless students with his love of the Spanish language and his passion for travel. His teaching career was cut short by a near-fatal accident, but Denis faced this unexpected chapter of his life with remarkable determination. He approached his long journey of rehabilitation with courage, perseverance, and an unwavering spirit, earning the admiration of all who knew him.
Denis is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Karen Krasnigor of Callawassie Island, SC, and by his nephews and niece: Keith, Scott, Brian, and Tanya Sullivan.
A graveside service will be held at the Quincy Hebrew Society Cemetery, at 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
