We mournfully regret the passing of our beautiful baby boy Drew Micah Smerling Marcus taken from his family at 5 weeks old for reasons we will never understand. He was born on Jan 4, 2018 during the huge snowstorm and lived a loving life until his passing. He is survived by his mother Rebecca Smerling and father Charlie Marcus. Brother of Sophie and Ruby Marcus, grandson of Abbe and David Smerling of Lexington, Anita Marcus and the late David Marcus of Kingstree, SC., nephew of Melissa Smerling, Jessica Smerling and Tom Fitzsimmons of Brookline, Michael Marcus of Kingstree, SC. He leaves a community full of loving friends from Temple Isaiah, Community Nursery School and Bridge School. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Nursery School 2325 Mass Ave. Lexington, or Temple Isaiah “Tot Shabbat” 55 Lincoln Street Lexington.
