Erika Johanna Graf Tauber

Erika (Graf) Tauber, age 79, of Lexington. Beloved wife of 51 years of Stephen, mother of Andrew, Sharon, and Elizabeth, grandmother of Amanda, Shawn, and Nicholas, and twin sister of Eva Glaser, died peacefully on February 14. Born Aug. 31, 1932 in Vienna, Erika reached the U.S. in 1941 after a 3-year odyssey through Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal. A graduate of Forest Hills H.S. (Queens, NY) and Barnard College, with an M.A. from Middlebury College, Erika previously lived in New York and Chevy Chase, MD. A warm and cultured woman with a radiant smile, Erika will be sorely missed. Funeral will be held at Temple Emunah, 9 Piper Rd., Lexington on Wednesday, February 15 at 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow at Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford Street, Lexington. Memorial observance at the family home on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday 7:00-9:00pm each day with Minyan at 7:45pm.
