Frieda Lappin Lappin Andler

Frieda H. (Lappin) Andler, of Newton, peacefully and surrounded by her family at age 103, on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, after a long lifetime of devotion to her family and friends. Devoted wife of the late Samuel. Beloved and revered mother of Nina Andler, Arnold Andler & his wife Barbara, Rita Andler, and Marc Andler & his wife Beth. She is predeceased by her son Eric Andler who died on April 9, 2015. Loving grandmother “Meema“ of Glenn Weinstein & his wife Janet, Steven Weinstein & his partner David, Doug Andler & his wife Kim, Wendy Kahn & her husband Joseph, Greg Andler & his wife Deborah, Stacie Tatum, Andrea Bragdon, Samantha Feldman & her husband Anatoliy, Brittani Andler and Samuel Andler. Great grandmother of Robin Weinstein, Gordon Weinstein, Jodie Weinstein, Brooke Andler, Paige Andler, Brianna Kahn, Alexa Kahn, Mackland Steele, Madalyn Andler, Mason Andler, Zachary Tatum, Rebecca Tatum, Emma Tatum, Noah Tatum, Kelli Kenneally & her husband Daniel, Stephanie Campbell and Alex Campbell. Great Great Grandmother of Amelia Kenneally and Greyson Kenneally. Dear sister of the of the late Albert Lappin, Sydney Lappin, Walter Lappin, Florence Basch, and Leo Lappin. She was the cherished aunt of many. Frieda was in various charitable, religious, and health orgranizations.

Services will be held at Congregation Beth-El Atereth Israel, 56l Ward Street, Newton on Friday, April 17 at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Beth El Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. Memorial observances will be held at her late residence following the burial until 5:00 PM and will continue Saturday after 8:30 PM, Sunday 1:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-9:00 PM, and Monday through Wednesday 6:00-9:00 PM.
