For 64 years, the cherished husband of Ellen (Shapiro). Loving father of Deborah Margolis and Rita Cusack, Nathaniel and Sandi Margolis, Joshua Margolis and Sara Schutzman, and Beth Margolis and Jeff Cohen. Proud Zaide of Noah and Jonah; Jenna, Micah and Elijah; Yael; Bennett and Sacha. Fond brother of Daniel and Patty Margolis and the late David & Eleanor Margolis and fond brother-in-law of Miriam Marcus and the late Rabbi Robert Marcus.
The funeral will take place Thursday January 18, at 1:30pm at Cong. Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard Street, in Brookline, MA.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Joshua and Sara, beginning with Mincha at 4:45 pm following the Burial in Lindwood Memorial Park in Randolph, MA. Shiva Shacharit will take place at 7:00 am on Friday, 8:00 am on Sunday, and at 7:00 am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Friday Mincha will take place at 2:30 pm, Saturday night Maariv at 7:00 pm, with Mincha and Maariv beginning at 4:30 pm on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. The family is grateful for a resting-period each day (Friday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday) between 11:00 am-2:00 pm.
