Dr. Gerald “Gerry” Cohen of Framingham on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. For 51 years, he was the beloved husband of Rosalyn “Roz” (Goldstein). Loving father of Allen R. & Anneliese Cohen of Hingham, Jeffrey L. Cohen and Jonathan M. Cohen, both of VT and Bonnie C. & Seth Koss of PA. Adored grandfather of Jacob, Eliza & Sophie Cohen and Selia, Micah, Atalya & Eli Koss. Dear brother of Toby Kaminkow of Boston and the late Shirley Segal and Shep Cohen. A trailblazer in his field of OBGYN, Prepared Childbirth and Childbirth Education. Services at Temple Beth Sholom, 50 Pamela Rd., Framingham, on Thursday, October 4 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow in the Framingham Natick Jewish Cemetery, 19 Windsor Ave., Natick. The family will receive visitors at his late residence following the burial, and continuing on Friday, 1-4pm and Sunday, 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, 02472 or Temple Beth Sholom.
