Jeanette Dlott

Jeanette Dlott passed away on May 23, 2021 surrounded by family at the Golda Meir House in Auburndale, Massachusetts. Jeanette was born on August 22nd, 1917 to loving parents David Davis and Etta Sachs. Jeanette was the devoted wife of the late Samuel Dlott and beloved mother to Stephen Dlott of Cary, North Carolina and the late Edward Dlott. She was the cherished grandmother to Alison Dlott of Scarsdale, New York, David Dlott of Chandler, Arizona, Eric Dlott of Southborough, Massachusetts, and Mike Dlott of Cary, North Carolina. Jeanette also leaves behind 9 grandchildren.

Jeanette loved music and in her youth she played the violin and participated in the school orchestra at her alma mater of Dorchester High School for Girls. Jeanette loved to dance and listen to music, her favorites being Broadway show tunes, Frank Sinatra and the big bands. Jeanette was also an avid Red Sox fan and watching their games brought her much joy.

Family was Jeanette’s first love, and her greatest happiness in life came from spending time with loved ones. She enjoyed visiting with her family, going to family functions and speaking to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren by phone. The light and love Jeanette brought to those in her circle will be forever missed.

Funeral services for Jeanette will be held Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 at 11:00AM at Linwood Memorial Park in Randolph, MA.
