Joseph Leiter, of Stoneham, on Thursday, April 16, 2015. For 58 years, he was the beloved husband of Gloria (Steinmetz). Loving father of David & Melissa Leiter of Stoneham and the late Amy Sugerman. Cherished grandfather of Samantha & Nathan Sugerman and Laurie Amy Leiter. Dear brother of the late Leon Liter and Janet Baratz. Loving uncle of nieces and nephews.

Services at the Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard St., Brookline, on Sunday, April 19 at 1:00pm. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon.

Following burial, memorial observance will be at his late residence until 7:00pm and continuing on Monday & Tuesday from 2-4pm & 6-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Bedford VA Hospital, (Hospice Unit), 200 Springs Rd., Bedford, MA 01730, Att: Voluntary Services or a charity of your choice.

Joseph was a World War II, Army Veteran.
