With heavy hearts, Leon V. Rosenberg of Newton, MA passed away peacefully January 15, 2023 after a short illness at the age of 97.
Leon was the loving husband to Marilyn who were partners in life and business for over sixty years and the caring, devoted and supportive father to Diane, Richard and Susan.
His kindness touched all that came in contact with him. Leon shared his love for life with everyone he knew. He was an avid jazz fan and boating enthusiast. He loved to travel and fully embraced all of life's adventures.
Leon was part of a multi-generational garment business made stronger with each generation. Leon was the President and owner or Briggs Women Sportswear. He was a passionate supporter of the Beth Israel Hospital and was very proud to be a board member.
He will be missed by all who recognized his zest for life and knew he always did it his way.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Leon’s name to the BIDMC in Boston.
