Lillian (Kolodiz) Stone 87, of Rancho Bernardo, CA, formerly of Belmont MA and Arlington, VA on Thursday, March 7, 2013 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Philip M. Stone. Devoted mother of Douglas B. Stone of Rancho Bernardo, CA and Thatcher A. Stone of Manhattan and Keswick, Virginia. Loving grandmother of Rebecca E. Stone of Manhattan, and Hilary, Nathaniel and Elizabeth Stone of Rancho Bernardo CA. Dear sister of Rachel Winer Manin of Wellington, FL. Daughter in law of the late Louis M. Stone and Esther Stone of Brookline, MA. First female chemical engineering graduate of Northeastern Univ. 1941. Services at the Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA on Monday, March 11 at 1:00pm and on the internet. Interment at Lindwood Memorial Park, 497 North Street, Randolph, MA. Memorial week in San Diego and Manhattan.
