

Lois Sandler (Lubin) of Watertown. Beloved wife of the late Murray "Morris" Sandler. Devoted and loving mother and the heart and soul of her daughter Donna Koocher. Lois left a huge void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the world when she passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the age of 87. Loving sister of the late Frederick "Rick" Lubin and aunt of Gary (Kirti) Lubin and Jeff (Sandra) Lubin, great aunt of Madison Lubin. Also survived by her sister-in-law Bernice Levine and many dear friends.
A true humanitarian who gave to the world before herself in all aspects of her life. She was dedicated to enrich her life and her family’s life. With her husband by her side they built a successful life and business, Owner, CFO and office manager of "MURRAY SANDLER SKATE AND RINK SUPPLY", Belmont, MA. She was the inner machine running their business. Lois had a love for crossword puzzles, especially the New York Times Sunday Crossword Puzzle, which she could do in 1-2 hours. Lois relaxed and let all of her worries go when vacationing in Las Vegas, particularly at the black jack table. She lived a life in physical pain from a birth defect in her knees and never complained, she persevered. A glamorous woman with a smile that warmed your heart. An Adored, Beautiful, Caring, Dedicated, Endearing, Friend, Generous, Hardworking, Independent, Jovial, Kind, Loving, Magnificent, Nice, Outstanding, Passionate, Quiet, Relentless, Selfless, Thoughtful, Understanding, Vibrant, Wise, eXceptional, Young in heart and spirit and Zealous, exquisite woman with a heart of gold. A true treasure to humanity. She will be greatly missed and remembered by her daughter and family and all who have had the pleasure to know and love her.
Graveside services will be held at Mishkan Tefila Memorial Park, 2690 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Tuesday, July 10 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Care Dimensions Hospice House, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923. Lois' daughter extends her gratitude to the staff at Care Dimensions for the outstanding care provided to Lois at the end of her life.
