

He was the loving son of the late Gilbert Cohn and Pearl (Meisel) Cohn and the adoring and committed brother to the late Eric R. Cohn. Mark will be missed by beloved cousins and extremely devoted friends.
Mark graduated in the class of 1972 from Framingham North High School where he was an excellent student and a co-captain of the soccer team – a game he worshiped from his days of being a camper and counselor at the West End House Camp in Maine throughout his life. At Providence College he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, was a co-captain of their soccer team and a loyal and giving member of the Providence College Soccer Alumni. Mark received his Masters of Business Administration at Babson College. Mark was the President and Founder of Mark Cohn’s Elite College Selection helping students make college selections tailored to their desires and needs and ensuring them placements in top schools in the country.
In 1994, a year after his brother Eric passed, The Eric R. Cohn Education Foundation, a non-profit, came to fruition with Mark as Founder and President. Yearly, the Foundation honors exemplary educators and coaches who make a difference in students’ lives and awards scholarships to students of fine character and accomplishment. For 20 years the Foundation had been Mark’s passion and it will continue
He worked for Veterans Taxi and also provided transportation for handicapped veterans. Mark will be remembered for his heartfelt handwritten letters. He was an uplifting and positive man with an infectious sense of humor. He loved to converse for hours on end about sports, politics, childhood memories and the fulfilling life he had. Mark made friends easily and he gained respect from all.
Graveside service will be held Friday, June 24 at 12 noon at the Framingham-Natick Jewish Cemetery at 20 Windsor, Natick, MA. Family and Friends are invited to attend.
