Maurice Cohen was born on 4/4/1922 and passed away on 10/22/2016. The son of the late Sam and Bessie (Zelbovitch) Cohen, he grew up in Lowell, MA. A World War II naval veteran, Mr. Cohen spent his career working for the Department of the Army as a Guided Missile Inspector. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan M. Cohen; daughters Judith Labossiere of Lincoln, RI, and Paula Beckerman of Delray Beach, FL; two grandchildren Sara Daignault of Harrisville, RI, and Joshua Labossiere of Lincoln, RI; and a great-grandson Thomas Daignault of Harrisville, RI. He is also survived by a sister Lorraine Smith of Portland, ME, and was the brother of the late Eli Cohen of Brookline, MA. The funeral will be in Massachusetts.
