
Myer Robert Dana, 75, of Wellesley, passed away on May 21, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones.
Myer’s legacy began with his great grandfather and namesake, Myer Dana. Through hard work and determination, Myer Dana created and cultivated a commercial real estate business in Greater Boston that he passed on to his children, and his children passed on to theirs. The legacy continued with Myer and his brother Alan, who followed in their predecessors’ footsteps to manage the business.
Myer was the beloved husband of Heather Dana. Adored son of Rosalie Dana and the late Marshall A. Dana. Loving brother of Alan Dana and his wife Margaret of Chestnut Hill, Sarah Post Leabman and her husband Michael of Brookline, and Deborah Swidler and her husband Barry of Florida. Devoted father of Benjamin Dana and his wife Aimee, Matthew Dana and his wife Tmana, and Ryan Boyd and his wife Alejandra. Cherished grandfather to Maia and Eli Dana. Loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Myer was also an adored friend and a highly respected business partner to many who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held privately.
Shiva will be held at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Rd, Wellesley, on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 2pm until 5pm.
