

Pamela was born to Rita and the late Milton Seavey on August 18, 1953, in Framingham, MA. Pamela graduated from Framingham North High School in 1971 and received a BA in both Studio Art and Science from Brandeis University in 1975. She received her Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979. While at Penn, she was introduced to fellow student Ben Rosenbloom. The two were married on August 12, 1979, and they lived in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, before relocating to Bethany in 2002.
In addition to her husband and mother, Pamela is survived by two children, Jenna Leigh and Adam Samuel, both of New York City, her sister Carol Seavey, of Framingham and her brother Dr. Mitchell Seavey of Ft. Lauderdale.
Pamela began her architectural career in Ft. Lauderdale with Vaughn & Wunsch, where she was the first female architect the firm ever hired. She later started her own practice and at the time of her death was working as the Director of Planning for Capital Projects and Modernization for the Housing Authority of the City of New Haven.
Pamela was active participant in the fight against breast cancer. She attended the Susan G. Komen Foundation Race for the Cure annually, accompanied often by her husband and friends. In 2010, Bristol Meyers-Squib selected her as the keynote speaker for their Race for the Cure event. She was a dedicated and beloved wife and mother and travelled often with her family, enjoying everything from white water rafting to art museums.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to Temple Israel of Natick, MA, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Cancer Society, Planned Parenthood, or the charity of your choice.
A service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday at Temple Israel of Natick, followed immediately by the burial at Framingham/Natick Hebrew Cemetery. Shiva will begin after the funeral at the home of her mother and will continue daily from 2-5 and 7-9 PM through Friday and resuming Saturday at 8 PM through Monday.
