Dear Dennis,
   Our Emerson Alum magazine arrived today and as usual, I checked the Memoriam in hopes I wouldn't find any familiar names.  Today was different and very sad to see Paula's name on the list.  I can't remember the last time we saw either one of you but you're both in our memories of our years at Emerson as undergrads and then as young marrieds, sharing fun times together.  Our deepest sympathies to your family for your great loss. Paula will always stay in our hearts as long as we live.

It is difficult to visualize Paula as anything but funny, charming, and dressed to the nines. She will forever be a role model for us  with her courage, empathy, and willingness to give to those she knew and loved...and those she did not. Her sense of humor was hilarious and spot on and she will be missed but kept forever in our hearts.

I'm very sad to learn of Paula's passing. It has been a while since I last saw her, but often think of her. As her esthetician, I've known her for many years. I always spent extra time with Paula because she was so much fun, always had great stories to share about her family and she had a glowing personality. She was the best. I will truly miss her!

Paula (Mom) profoundly effected the lives of everyone who knew her, and losing her, so young,  to cancer is tragic, however her physical suffering is over. Dear Dennis, Greg, and all the family,
We were so sorry to hear the news of Paula's death. It has been many years since we have seen each other but memories came flooding back of our Claflin days. Working to build the playground, organizing to try to improve the third grade offerings, Greg and Dan and all of their exploits. We remember Paula so full of energy,always involved in so much, especially  with her family,her professional work and her church.Her creativity was positively bubbling with art all over the house. Paula always had a smile. After you moved to Brookline, we admired how you built your business together, Dennis.

In the short time that I knew Paula, I feel it was a great blessing. She was the first person that reconfirmed my decision to take the path I chose in life with my degree and interests. Dennis & Family!  We all have our memories of Paula.  Most Mondays when you and Paula were in Florida meant getting together to dine formally for a one course meal at Target' with Dennis setting the choice table by the window while the food was picked up, followed by an evening at the theatre (movie).  Always up to a challenge, Paula would import her Coke and other treats to go with the popcorn that she would share , making the movie a better experience. I have fond memories of Mrs. Becker as my Cub Scout den mother, when I was 8 and lived in Newton.  I have never forgotten all the never ending ideas and activities she came up with for us to earn our badges while learning and having the greatest time.
