The family of Richard (Dick) J. Pinn, of Framingham is saddened to announce his passing on August 1, 2022 at the age of 87. Cherished son of Samuel and Ruth Pinn, Beloved husband of 60 years to Sheila (Freedman) Pinn. Devoted father of Eric Pinn and his wife Vicki, and Michele Wellman and her husband Bryan Wellman. Adored grandfather of Madeleine, Gabriella, & Aidan Pinn, and Ryan Wellman. Loving brother of the late Joyce Fox.
Richard was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and graduated from the University of Connecticut on the GI Bill. He and Sheila made Framingham their home for the next 60 years, where they raised their children. After spending more than 50 years working in the textile industry at the Hub Thread Company, Richard retired and continued to enjoy the early morning hours on the links at Nashawtuc Country Club. Richard was a tender man. His family and friends will miss his reassuring larger than life presence and equally large belly laughs. Love ya. Muah!
