

Ronnie H. Grossman, age 91, of Chestnut Hill, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. She was the beloved daughter of the late Dora(Rebak)& Samuel Glick of Boston. She was the adored wife for 71 years of Charles Grossman. She was the loving and devoted mother of Judi & Mel Rubin of Framingham, Laurie Grossman of Watertown and Dr. Neil Grossman of Natick. Ronnie adored her grandchildren Matthew & Karyn Rubin of Plainview, NY and Michelle Rubin of Brookline. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her great grandsons, Dylan and Jesse Rubin. They gave her so much happiness and love. She leaves behind her sister Evelyn Insoft & her husband Sidney and her late brother, Leon Glick & his surviving wife Shirley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She had a beautiful life with her husband Charles. They met in August of 1947 on Nantasket Beach. They were married in March of 1948. She knew he was “the one” the minute she saw him.
Ronnie loved to entertain and was an amazing cook and baker. She loved to travel, especially to Europe. She was an avid tennis player, belonging to the Newton Squash and Tennis Club for many years. She touched many people with her kindness and compassion and will be missed by all who knew her.
A private funeral service, officiated by Rabbi Michael Luckens, was held.
