Ruth T. (Temple) Segelman, of Newton, formerly of Needham and Chestnut Hill on Sunday, January 27, 2013. For almost 68 years, she was the beloved wife of Charles Segelman. Loving mother of Roberta & Dr. Lawrence Yellen of Newton, Gerald & Susanne Segelman of Rochester, NY and Marsha & Dr. Hal Solomon of Millburn, NJ. Adored grandmother of Elizabeth Yellen, Denise and Israel Ganot, Brett Yellen, Alexander Yellen, Micah & Michal Segelman, Danna Solomon, Jeremy Solomon and special “Bubbie” of 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Solomon Temple, Sydney Temple, Celia Elefson and Maurice Temple. Services at The Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline on Tuesday, January 29 at 12:00noon. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park. Shiva at the home of Roberta and Lawrence Yellen following the interment until 9:00pm and continuing Wednesday and Thursday l-4pm & 7-9pm, Friday 11-2pm, Saturday 7-9pm, Sunday l-4pm & 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice. Ruth will always be remembered as a good wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
