Saul Cohen

Saul Cohen, of Boston, formerly of Newton, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the age of 88. He was most recently in residence at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, where after years of declining health, he died from a heart attack. He was the son of Samuel and Fannie Cohen; former husband of Fay Granberg Cohen; loving father of Steven Cohen and Debbie Cohen; devoted brother of Lottie Cohen Grossberg; and dear uncle of Philip Grossberg and Marlyn Atkins, both of Helena, Montana, and Joanne Berger and Irene DiMaria, both of Williamsville, New York; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie and sister, Lottie. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the gentle, loving care provided by the staff at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center. And most especially, to express the family’s gratitude for the competent and caring services provided by Devorah Borenstein, his legal guardian.

Graveside services will be held at Shepetovka Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, www.hebrewseniorlife.org.
